SLAM

We first heard about the Teen Library Association at a LLA (Louisiana Library Association) Conference in March 2015. Our sponsor, Mrs. Berry, brought back information and started recruiting. Taha Hayat, a Magnet Junior, became interested and after serving a summer internship at Shreve Memorial Library, became our President in his senior year.

 

Our 2015-2016 roster includes 11 Magnet students. We have a wide range of interests in our group and are hoping to give back in many ways to our community.

 

We are hoping you will join us in 2016-2017.
